James works with many arts charities and community groups to bring the subject to new audiences. He is Creative Director of the Hugo Burge Foundation, a major new charity in the Scottish Borders formed to support the arts, crafts and creative industries across Britain. The Hugo Burge Foundation distributed £500,000 of grants funding last year alone.
